capture what it FEELS like when we're
together as a family the way you do”

I regularly gasp when I see the work you have done for our
family and other families. You have a way of capturing the
intimacy in our family (and in all your families) that I feel like
most people never see otherwise. We have plenty of photos
of us looking at the camera and smiling, but we don't know
of anyone else who can capture what it FEELS like when
we're together as a family the way you do. You also
somehow make us all look beautiful. :) In addition to
providing us with incredibly magical, beautiful photos, you
make the whole process fun and easy! All of the logistics
are always super clear, and the shoots themselves are fun
for all of us. You have an ease about you that makes the
experience relaxed and fun, which I know must contribute
to why we look so happy and connected in our photos.
You also suggest amazing locations so it feels like we are
falling in love with our city all over again every time we do a
shoot. What you offer is truly unique, from start to finish.

We LOVE Ashley Kaplan Photography. We've hired several
different photographers for newborn and family portraits
over the past few years. Ashley is by far the best. She has a
knack for capturing true, unfiltered moments of love and
connection. Our oldest son is an active little guy -- I find it
very difficult to photograph him, but somehow Ashley
manages to both engage him and/or disappear from his
awareness during our fun playtime photo sessions, resulting
in perfect joyful portraits that look exactly like him. No easy
task! Sessions with Ashley are really fun, basically just an
excuse for family play time, and yet she provides helpful
instructions in an unobtrusive, comfortable way. I honestly
cannot recommend her highly enough. She is the best. I
cherish her work.

The photos we received were not only A-MAZE-ING (literally

daughter, and I had an incredible time walking and exploring
the beach while Ashley took photos. Ashley provided just
enough direction/guidance to help create the best photos
but mostly it was just about our family enjoying ourselves at
the beach while Ashley happened to be there capturing the
joy and love.
